Clark County, in partnership with University Medical Center, opened a Crisis Stabilization Center in North Las Vegas to provide 24/7 psychiatric crisis and detox services to adults age 18 and older.
Through a partnership between Clark County and University Medical Center (UMC), a critical gap in Southern Nevada's behavioral health safety net has been addressed through the opening of the region's first Crisis Stabilization Center. The facility has 35 outpatient chairs to offer immediate care for those experiencing mental health crises or substance use disorders. Services are available to adults 18 years and older regardless of insurance status.
