Someone to Contact

Nevada's crisis response system is rooted in the 988 Lifeline, which provides free, confidential, 24/7/365 help for anyone facing mental health struggles, emotional distress, alcohol or drug use concerns, or just needing someone to talk to. 988 services are available via call, text, or chat. A specialized Veterans Crisis Line is accessible through 988. In addition to 988, other behavioral health support lines focus on specific populations in Nevada.

Primary 988 Resources
988 in Nevada

988 contacts are routed to an accredited 988 contact center based on the location where the call, chat, or text originated. Two 988 crisis contact centers are based in Nevada, one in Southern Nevada operated by Carelon Behavioral Health and one in Northern Nevada operated by Crisis Support Services of Nevada. These centers back each other up to maximize the number of contacts handled by crisis counselors located in Nevada.
